Detroit Music Exhibit
- Researched, designed, and set up a large 10-panel atrium exhibit featuring the evolution of Detroit’s music scene for Black History Month.
Dolly Parton Imagination Reading Event
- Helped coordinate, set up, and run an event with local community partners (senior assisted living facility, university library, and elementary school).
- Event included storytime, crafts, and a special appearance by Macho the miniature horse.
Display Cases
- Researched, designed, and installed displays using material from special collections.
Elephant Display
Based on the Jeheskel (Hezy) Shoshani Library Endowed Collection. Built for a donor visit.
Motown Display
Based on the Detroit Art and Culture Collection.
Anatomy-Themed Display
Based on the Florence Nightingale Collection, the Gift from Dr. Gregory Zemenick, and the Shiffman Medical Library Historic Collection.
Subject of the Month – June 2025
- Researched, designed, and created a topical research libguide on queer anticapitalism.
- Built a physical display case (similar size to Motown display).
Interview Committee
- Served on a committee for hiring two new graduate assistants.
MeL Map
- Designed a map based on WSU’s history of MeLCat using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and MapBox API.
- Created a LibGuide focusing on statistics, analysis, and IMLS funding, featuring original custom widgets.
College to Career LibGuide
- Designed and created a LibGuide highlighting WSU’s College to Career initiative with custom widgets.
Safiya Noble Event
- Researched, designed, and created a LibGuide for a scholar/author visit.
- Designed programming for the event.
- Helped coordinate event logistics.
Georeferencing
- Contributed georeferencing to the Detroit branch of OldInsuranceMaps.net, a virtual map overlaid with historical Sanborn fire insurance maps from the digital collection at the Library of Congress.
Incarcerated Students Reference Project
- Provided reference assistance for incarcerated undergraduate students in the WSU Prison Education Program at Macomb Correctional Facility
- Assisted with coordinating and fielding requests

- Facilitated updating even more display cases, this time coordinating the entire project.
- Devised documentation for pulling material for future interested designers.

- Assisted library instruction sessions for the following courses:
Accessibility Audit
- Overhauled the accessibility statement of the University Library System.
- Cross-referenced accessibility statements of partner university libraries.
- Examined Title II to ensure compliance.
- Outlined the new guide that hosted the statement.
- Evaluated the accessibility statements of University Library vendors and publishers.
Catalog Decolonizing
- Devised alternate local LoC cataloging headings/terminology to "Oriental Languages."
- Project cancelled due to work being done on the national level by the South Asia Funnel.
